As per the title, Fixed or Variable Service interval, how is yours set?

It would be interesting to know how these vans come from the manufacturers and what the dealers say about it. My MAN dealer says that MAN always have them set as fixed for a TGE. Do VW say the same?

When you say fixed do you know if its 1 year or two year intervals ?

As it was only manufactured in September 2022 and the oil change service came up before Christmas 2023 I can but assume it is set to 1 year. However it could be oil quality as it's only done a bit less than 2000 miles since new so may be a bit crap.
When I get chance I'll have a look and see if I can suss it with VCDS.

Mine is just 12 months old, done 8k+ miles. Checked next service and seems to be 12k miles.

I've had a look with VCDS and see that it's set as QG1 which as far as I know is 'Service prolongation'. So I will see how MAN (Aquila Truck & Bus) leave it when they have serviced it. As above, I'm guessing that it wants an oil change due to minimal use whilst being converted.
I have a service contract so won't be paying for it now but don't want all my 'paid for' services used up un-necessarily.
