Man tge 2025 batteries constantly going flat

I can't edit my post #14 anymore, but another drawback of the Victron Invertor trickle charger is that is can only load with a copy of the profile as used for the LB and as most SB's are AGM they need another charging profile. I'd not use that due to this.
That is another misunderstanding of the auxiliary charging function, there is no charging profiles on the auxiliary pin, only a single voltage output to maintain the SB, not to fully charge it. Its only a maintenance charge to cover low draw or self discharge. And it works wonders, my van SB is 8 years old and still going. Maintained by multiplus aux pin.
 
My 2025 MY TGE does the same with the coolant pump running. I generally lock and listen, if the pumps running unlock wait 10 seconds and lock again and it stops running.

So it may not be a fault then if yours does the same ,although it makes no sense really does it .
I understand the pumps will prime on opening but to keep running is weird you would expect them to be timed and shut off automatically if the vans not started,,
I had it bk to MAN and they plugged it in no faults found,
But said they would need to keep it there a few days so it can be checked when the engine is cold??
He did mention that when a vehicle arrives at a dealership in transport mode they have to plug them in while doing the pdi to obviously set the van up from fresh for the customer,and some dealers don’t always run the full set up ?so if it’s cut short it can cause some issues??
He ran a full dealer reset on my van he wasn’t saying that’s the issue he just said it’s something that he has come across a couple of times?
So time will tell.
