Welcome aboard @Craftyyorkshireman, it sounds as though you are following the same route as many of us. We've been all the way up (if that's the right word) from a 1969 Bay window. Never owned a Splitty!
Our MAN TGE bespoke order was delivered early November 2022 having been delayed due to Covid and an incorrect build at the factory! Now eventually converted and waiting for us to enjoy it.

I've noticed a huge amount of people making the same jump... As much as these vans can be a nightmare for us to convert, i have to admit once done they're leagues above anything else we've worked on!
