Heated Washer Jets - Missing on factory order

@Pauly, were you assuming connection to an ignition live like a T6 or do you know if simply connecting to the BCM without any extra coding will bring the heated jets into action?
Either way I may be interested in the outcome of this thread and fit them to my TGE.

I dont know anything 100% but think its (very) highly likely an ignition live will be fine, they will be with me this week so will get some wiring made up and run it through an ammeter before i ship it to @Jack T and confirm current draw etc

Thanks, the TGE is still in the converters at present.

@Pauly any other mods you got planned, it seems a bit slower than the transporter for people tinkering with things

I have not fitted them as yet, life has got in the way so it hasn’t been a priority.

This cold weather has reminded me about it again though, will try to get them fitted.

Do you think you’ll get them sorted any time soon?

Next job on the list is the fog lights, just need to wire them in but not sure if my bcm will accept them

Yeah will do them sometime soon. They aren’t the most complex of things though, just need an ignition live. Don’t think it’s going to require a load of research and development!

@Pauly on a side note, would it be possible to make a fog light loom and a rain and light sensor loom including the purple link between switch and bcm by any chance

no sorry i dont make wiring, i did a couple jobs on my own t6 years ago retrofitting some bits and just replicated what i had done for a few people on request
