Eberspacher heater OEM fitting

Please lads,
Eventually getting time to look into this fitment, it turns out my son is now a Auoterm agent, he's asked me to get the parts needed to mount a 5kw unit underside. I already have the OE diesel heater that pumps hot air through the heater vents but this has limitations, mainly only being able to use it three times a day and 120min time limit before have to move.

Looking at diagram, I guess all I need is 2, 4, 6, mounting brackets, and 10'11 mounts, also plastic shield 13.
How does 6 fit into 2.

The two tongues (Red) fit into the two slots (Red circles) (which I think have rubber lining sleeves) and there is a bolt assembly that fits through a rubber grommet type mounting along the Blue line (10,11,12).

If you are 'plumbing' the hot air with normal heating air tubes you can dispense with items 25-36 and if like me you can get the inlet air to the door step without items 21-23 then so be it. I did need a 90 degree elbow to fit the hose between the body steel and the step I think.

Does that help? I became obvious to me once I had the parts in my hand but that is almost two years ago!

Perfect thanks, we have an account with local DAF dealer, I'll get stuff ordered. I have a Grand California so might input (hot air) into the seat base and output (heater inlet) from doorstep. As I have the original diesel Webasto I can use a "T" piece for the fuel.

All parts have been ordered from MAN Bristol (£100). One more question, where exactly does the bracket fit and do I need round or Hexagonal rivnuts.
Does it fit under the passenger or drivers side??

It fits under floor right side (UK driver's side) as for the rivnut question, I can't remember even if I needed any so sorry you will have to get down and under.

A couple of things to note.
Make sure that you locate the ingoing combustion air pipe as far up and away from any chance of water ingress, mine is just pushed up above above the heater brackets with a relatively cheap silencer/filter fitted and has been OK up to now.
Also make sure that where ever you locate / point the exhaust towards it doesn't burn anything and always slopes downward and backwards. VW simple point the OEM one towards the centre of the chassis slightly down and back with the silencer fitted as close as possible to the heater. There is a little extension to bolt it to on the heater mounting brackets. I've fitted my silencer there and extended the exhaust round and under the side of the van almost below the drivers door. Treat the flexible stainless exhaust with respect, cut ends are razor sharp! The outer end should have the proper cap on it as supplied by some of the manufacturers, Eberspacher for instance.
