Yes I got a friend that works in the business to take a look at it as I couldn’t see an easy way.
He was just a bit more brave/confident than me (and it wasn’t his van either!).
Basically loosened the torq screws on the top and gave it a good pull to disconnect it slightly. Then proceeded to pull and break each plastic tab fixing on the removed part. He was using some plastic panel prybars to help him. I wasn’t going to use it again so the tabs being broken weren’t an issue.
To fit the new one was just a case of making sure all the broken tabs were out and it was a simple push fit back into place.
Took him 5-10 mins in all.
As I said, he was just used to the work and was probably confident to put a lot more force into it than I was.
