Got a MWB new shape crafter and am planning my build currently.
I’m hoping to get 3x 175w Victron panels plus a max air fan on the roof, need to confirm with measurements but looks like it’s not out the realms of possibility.
However what’s surprised me is the cost of roof racks! Seems £2000 is the going rate which just seems… crazy! Especially if you haven’t got the oem roof tracks which are another £700 or so from what I’ve seen.
I’ve seen some unistrut DIY jobs on YouTube but they really don’t seem great and I’ve not seen one which looks good yet (still open to the idea though if I see someone doing it neatly).
Are there any other cheaper roof rack options out there? I want the versatility to move things about on the roof in the future which is why I don’t want to bolt the panels straight into the roof
