Reduce oil amount yellow triangle

Crafter 140 mwb fwd auto. Had the above warning so reduced by sucking out approx 250ml.
Tested again and warning returns after 70-100 miles. How far down the dipstick is ok.
At the same time had coolant low red triangle warning now topped up (was at very bottom of expansion tank) and seems ok. Any thoughts?

@csd4t You might have a leaking EGR. This is a known problem and needs fixing. Worst case is the engine will hydraulically lock and then it’s new engine as well

I had this when i did my first service a year ago, i reduced them dipstick level down to half way and it went away, i totally forgot about it.

Did another service a month ago and filled it half way, got the error, tried reducing it a bit to 1/3 on dipstick, still came back so reduced it down to min on the dipstick, it still came back.

Tried leaving the cap off while idling abit and tried leaving the cap off for 10mins after a long run (vauge recollection of doing one of these a year ago)

Made no difference, error came back, put another 1/2 litre back in last weekend but i have not driven the 60/70 miles yet.

I have boughta new Hella oil level sensor to replace when i get some free time, just cba with taking off all my 3rd party underbody armour trays to drop the oil yet again.
