I bought mine from LK Performance. I wanted 20 inch rims too. Had an interesting conversation with the guys there regarding load rating, axle weight, use of van, cost of replacement tyres etc. Went with their 17” MSW (OZ) set black/polished, with Davanti DX740 van tyres. Handles well and feels nice to drive.
She is a heavy van, not a sports car. Curbs, speed bumps and pot holes are less of an issue with more rubber.

My dealer has submitted a change to the factory to have larger tyres approved as all the campervan upfitters are using larger tyres and they will not use OEM sizing as customers demand larger tyres for improved ground clearance and to be able to drive with 1 bar pressure and still be able to drive over sand and rocks whilst having a high sidewall. You need a /75 or better a /80 sidewall height.
My preferred tyre width is as narrow as possible as this makes the tyre behave like it was aired down a lot more, saving time airing up/down. Saving weight too.

Thank you. That is absolutely correct. MAN in the UK seem to be a bit behind. I hope it will still be able to happen as an upgrade after delivery or I might consider cancelling.
Do you know of any problems with the Seakel 30mm lift. Is this causing front sensor problems as well ?

We just have the downside of being the first...
The function of the radar after the lift can be readjusted by recalibrating the radar as mentioned in the upfitters manual.

I don't have any knowledge of lift kits, but this one is missing the stand off for the drive shaft under the floor.
I've heard people say that it's better to drop the subframe as the suspension geometry will stay as desired in the front, especially the cv-joints will be stressed extra from a lift.
Those tyres will probably fit, I've been told the Ecu has a 5% margin for tyre size and your choice is +5,4%.

Im having issues running 245/65/17 on a my25 TGE specifically with intermittent right turn errors and also a few others related to radar. Man say its because of the oversized tyres as per the doc in this thread. Elite wheels who supplied the wheels say they know of issues with the new model with other sizing but 245/65/17 has never had an issue.We just have the downside of being the first...

Someone I got hold of at Man mentioned there is a major software update that takes hours to do in the service centre that may fix the issue. Have you had any feedback from your dealer enquiry of any fix?

This is the size I would like to have on my van next year so I'd be interested to know this outcome . Are you also running a lift kit or standard suspension.
Standard suspension. The wheels have been fitted from new and didn’t have a problem for the first week then started to get faults appearing and resetting.
No, I was told two weeks ago this size is not going to be possible. Can you be specific and ask the dealer which update-ID it concerns?
