Im having issues running 245/65/17 on a my25 TGE specifically with intermittent right turn errors and also a few others related to radar. Man say its because of the oversized tyres as per the doc in this thread. Elite wheels who supplied the wheels say they know of issues with the new model with other sizing but 245/65/17 has never had an issue. We just have the downside of being the first...
The function of the radar after the lift can be readjusted by recalibrating the radar as mentioned in the upfitters manual.

It's 417 or 470 pages and I've read the whole thing.
This is the size I would like to have on my van next year so I'd be interested to know this outcome . Are you also running a lift kit or standard suspension.Im having issues running 245/65/17 on a my25 TGE specifically with intermittent right turn errors and also a few others related to radar. Someone I got hold of at Man mentioned there is a major software update that takes hours to do in the service centre that may fix the issue. Have you had any feedback from your dealer enquiry of any fix?
Cheers
Standard suspension. The wheels have been fitted from new and didn’t have a problem for the first week then started to get faults appearing and resetting. This is the size I would like to have on my van next year so I'd be interested to know this outcome . No, I was told two weeks ago this size is not going to be possible. Can you be specific and ask the dealer which update-ID it concerns?Someone I got hold of at Man mentioned there is a major software update that takes hours to do in the service centre that may fix the issue.
