2012 Crafter - No windscreen wipers??

Hello

I have recently bought a 2012 VW crafter and the windscreen wipers don't work, so these are the things i've checked and i'm starting to run out of ideas.

  1. Checked fuse 5 (30 amp) under the passenger dash with a multimeter and it is fine
  2. Put 12v on the wiper motor directly and it functions
  3. Pulled relay 2 and 4 from under the passenger dash fuse box and tested with 12v, the coils engage when given power.
  4. All functions on the stalk work apart from the wipers

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Help is appreciated.
Tom

Is the bonnet properly closed? Some VWs wouldn't operate the wipers with it open, mechanics fingers etc.

Hi Rod

Thank you for getting back to me, I've not considered the bonnet latch, i'm pretty sure it's been closed but it doesn't mean the switch works. i'll check if it has one and if so it's operational.

Cheers

I was able to borrow my friends VW diagnostic tool and got the following codes:
