Sliding and barn door carpeting….

What do people have for their sliding and rear doors in terms of to carpet or not to carpet? I’ve had windows put in the back doors and would like to carpet the doors to neaten around the window edges and insulate them a bit (I’ve also made thermal blinds that use magnets so would like to protect the paintwork from any rogue ‘bits’ the magnets pick up) and also for the sliding door. Have people bothered? If so how did you achieve a neat edge to the seal when closed? Thanks!

Carpeted the surrounds, and carpeted door cards.

Thanks @Raul a/3 Did you take the door seal off the rear door and put carpet under it, or just up to it and cut it carefully!

I did take the seal off on both openings, side slider and the back doors. I sprayed silicone spray to put them back on, before a good clean.
