So we are starting our build on a new MAN TGe and there is expanding foam in about the interior skin and exterior skin.. anyone have any idea why and what for and if it's better to remover before filling the area with insulation etc? Located near wheel arches in rear and where the Bpillar seams with the outer skin.20240628_142550.jpg20240628_142620.jpg

The foam near the rear wheel arches fills a couple of holes that pass through to the sills. It’s recommended to remove this as it allows any collected moisture to drain out to the outer sills. There are rubber bungs in the outer sills that can be removed to allow the water to drain all the way out then.
