Btw the Carista will not work on a my25 man tge as there locked waste of £75 pounds

From experience VCDS works on a 2024 model to reset the airbag warning, I've not tried it on a '25 model but think it will be the same.

Apparently the my25 has a lock..
Called sfd2 so they don’t support it and Carista won’t work!
it seems most new vws are now locked 25 onwards

I'll be looking at a '25 model when I get back from holiday (early October) so will find out then.

I did try it and nothing worked.
The response from Carista was the new 25 my has the sfd2 lock so it won’t work.and there’s no future plans to overcome this ?obd11 seem to have been trying to work through this lock on the new vws

Dont have first hand experience on new crafters but the SFD on other models is only for explicit modules and functions so i would be very surprised if your weren't able to do anything, hopefully VCDS would have some functions

I'm also looking into the SFD problems, from hearsay VCDS is still able to reset fault codes but for changing module settings you need to buy a live timeslot with a service connected to a VAG-server.

Have to say that it's pretty disappointing not being able to change settings here and there, for instance, the three times the binker goes when activating the stalk is too little, I'd like to change it to 7 blinks.
Tyre pressure, same thing; factory setting is 4.1bar and that's too much. In the old version you can set three load versions (empty, medium and fully loaded) with respective pressure settings.
And I need to have the body module changed to start the alternator when the household battery needs charging when solar is insufficient. Etc etc.

Morning guys .
So I have first hand experience as I own a my25 man tge and the latest Carista evo and it will definitely NOT clear fault codes unfortunately ,I plugged in and nothing worked plus the scan failed.
I contacted Carista and they confirmed that it won’t work on the 25my vans so I’m now in the process of returning the unit to them .
I removed my front seats to run wiring under the matting,but before hand disconnecting the battery.on reconnecting it put chucked up a load of random codes .so I was hopeful the Carista would clear these but it didn’t happen.
Luckily on taking the van for a drive they cleared themselves .
The Carista works a treat on my t6.1 but not at all on my 25 man tge

Hi guys I’m about to install a Clayton is the above picture the correct one for a my25 van aswell?
I need to find the d+
It it in the fuse box under the passenger seat? Or a different fuse box

Just reading your thread on the clayton. How did you get a D+ feed to the Clayton unit. How do you find the Clayton in 25 plate crafter
