Crafter shuddering / shaking in first gear when motor has warmed up

I have a Crafter from 2013 with 250K kilometers (= approx 156K miles). Runs fine, but recently this issue has arisen:

when the motor is hot, after some 20 minutes of driving, I notice heavy shaking / shuddering when I put it in first gear after a stop.

I don't think it's the flywheel, because then it should shake also on a cold start.

What would be the possible cause ? Gearbox oil to be replaced ?
