Charge or not to charge?

What is the correct/common procedure when vehicle standing on drive and not going far for a period of time?
Should you stay disconnected from mains?
Should you charge occasionally?
Should you just stay fully connected?
Any advice gratefully received please?

Do you have solar fitted. If is and it also charges the engine battery then you will probably be fine. My old T5 had a 175w panel and kept the leisure and vehicle battery fully charged for 10 months

Hi.....yes solar is fitted but doesn't seem to be enough...200w panel
