Battery tray help.

Hope you may be able to help.

Basically I’ve fitted a battery tray to my van (don’t have the vin as I’m at work right now) and the one I ordered doesn’t have anywhere to locate what I believe to be a control module for the gearbox.

The bracket that I removed has some clips to secure it.

What I’m wondering, from my previous post and your reply, is have I bought the wrong battery tray variant.

This is the part I’ve ordered 2N0915321B.

I’ve attached a pic of the part that was removed and circled the area that supports the module.

At the minute the module is cable tied in position. Not ideal.

Where this module goes with on an auto with factory six battery is currently a mystery to me.

Unfortunately I only have VW part number.

That part number comes part as part 6 in the below diagram and not part 9 as per your image ?

The only options for that part are vehicles before 07/05/18 or after (your part number is after)

Part 9 as per your image has no options or variations 2N0915515



Hope im not missing the point here ?
Your vin number will give me 'as fitted' part numbers rather than showing all variations of parts
