Which shock absorbers LWB 3.88 Crafter 3.88 t

I have the VW Crafter LWB 2022 (Grand California 3.88t). Rear suspension is very hard, slow speed damping is too hard in my opinion, everything shudders on our British roads.
I ordered a pair of Bilstein B4 for for a standard Crafter for the rear. When measured they are too short when fully extended by 7cm.

At the moment I'm in discussion with tech at Bilstein. They asked for a OEM part number which is 2N0513031R, they tell me the shocks should fit but when I mention that my van is LWB they're not so sure.

Now they're doing more investigations.

Any advice for softer rear damping??
