Hi,any advise would be appreciated,after changing the fuel filter on the van what process do i have to go through to start it/prime it? iv read that you need to turn the ignition on for 30 seconds a few times,people have said about doing it through a programme but im useless with computers so hope i dont have to do this,another said to fill the new filter? appreciate any advice its a crafter 2019 diesel
 
The easiest option to bleed air is to run engine's built-in diagnostic routine - described in the link below:

Unfortunately a proper diagnostic tool is needed for that, e.g. VCDS

Or simply, perhaps just a visit to a garage?
 
Just changed mine and it was a pig to start, I just kept turning it on the starter and after a couple of minutes it started again (didn't see the above VCDS procedure) but next time I will just pre fill the filter before fitting it.
