Vw crafter 2010 2.5 coolant fault

I have a VW Crafter 2010 mwb, 5 cylinder, 2.5 liter.
The coolant sensor light keeps coming on. I have changed the sensor 3 times, but it still hasn't cured the issue. I have changed the sensor on the right hand side of the engine. Is there another one that I need to change ? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I found that on older VW passenger vehicles the cable loom has failed on intersections, where they move and can rub on adjacent parts, causing the indicator to light up. Have you looked at this possibility? I have zero experience with working on older vans (never had one) but it's worth a shot.
