Usb plug 2020 TGE

Hi all, I've recently bought a wireless adapter to use my phone with the MAN smartlink, it works fine but, the usb socket it's plugged into appears to be constantly live which means the adapter is powered constantly.
I wondered if it's possible to change any settings so the power is cut after the ignition is off?
I've got VCDS

Which USB are you using? I assume the ones in the centre dash recess, if so are you sure that they are always powered or do they go off after a period with the ignition off?

That USB doesn't exist on our 2023 model, we have a pair in a recess of the dash below the infotainment head which are only powered when the radio is on including the extended timed period with the ignition off.
I know there are different options on previous model years and hope that someone with knowledge of those variations will be along soon.
