Hiya

Not sure if anyone can help i have a 2019 crafter that has the heating stuck on.

So even if it's set to cold It blows hot air albeit not as hot as it is when it's set to hot but it's un-bareable when it's hot outside.

I can't seem to find a control valve does anyone know where it would be I've found the control flap thing but no temp control yet.

Thanks in advance ☺️

Only the car gods know why, but: on the non A/C vans unless you have the fan set to 1 or above the other knobs will stay on whatever setting they were set to at the point you turned the fan to 0.

Because of this I leave my fan set to 1 all the time.

Has anyone spoken to the Gods on this, I have the same issue, this seems bizarre, so if you turn the fan to Zero it locks the cold/hot knob and blower exit point knob - to what ever was last selected before you put the fan on '0' ???, trying to change the cold/hot knob after this then has no effect ??? will test the solution @Tor suggests ...

Same problem here and not related to the blower. I believe it’s the heater control flap and if broken it can still be manually changed. Anyone got a diagram of where it lives?

Mine's stuck on cold for the past two years or so. Is not the mixing blend door, I checked with a camera stethoscope, all move as it should. The rad is blistering hot, but the fan blows cold.
VW said is a dash out job, and further investigation. I left it at that as we use the diesel heater in colder times.
I had a play with the VCDS and all works as it should, all air doors move when activated. Blend door motor works and door moves. Some say there is a sensor in the air duct that can be faulty and mess with the air mix hot/cold. I'm yet to find the solution.
Mine has air con and it works, just missing the heat, just luke warm on passenger side.

Ah nightmare.
They have the cameras for about £20 in Aldi at the minute so that might be a good start. Any idea where the flap lives/best way to it?

The cold/ hot flap is right underneath of centre console, just above the heat exchanger rad, near the floor. Access is best with glove box out and camera down the air track from passenger side. If you remove some trim it will be easier. I had my camera down it.
Also if you remove the glove box, you get access to the blend door motor and the mechanism. Have a person switching the hot cold button, while you observe the motor working and pushing the door lever. Mine works, still no heat.

Amazing info. Thanks so much!

All of them :) I had the heater stuck 'on', cooking in summer, but once I knew to move the fan dial to 1 (from '0'), I rotated the heating control a few times and the heating then went off ...

Think it works on a vacuum system - so needs some draw for the knob adjustments to make a difference. The you can turn it back to 0 if you want. Even in 0 it breathes a bit of hot or cold.
