Engine block heater retro fit

Hi I am planing a trip to the Arctic circle next year and wanted to fit an engine block heater to avoid wear and tear on the engine when starting from cold.
Has anyone fitted one to their van? or does anyone know how it can be achieved ? or is there any kits available to do such a thing?

Have a look at True Blue travellers on YouTube, they did a trip to the artic in their van and are just preparing to go to Alaska. They have a Mercedes Sprinter and fitted a diesel water heater. However, they are changing it to an Autotherm diesel heater, they discussed it in last Saturday's video.

I've been looking at fitting a pre-heater as well. Only just started doing a bit of research into it.

J’avais un chauffage similaire sur mon VW T4 (chauffage auxiliaire).
Il permettait de chauffer le circuit de refroidissement du moteur dés que la température extérieure descendait en dessous de 5°C.
C’est une chaudière EBERSPACHER de 4KW de mémoire.

On trouve aussi des systèmes électriques 230v par cher sur les sites comme ALIexpress mais il faut avoir de l’électricité disponible...
