Whilst I’ve pretty much finished the van build, I’d like to share with you the brilliant cable seals available.
These are often used in the marine industry, and if they work well in that environment, then a van will also be applicable.
Called Scanstrut. , catering for 2 to 6mm OD cable. The way it works is by compressing a the suitable size cable around a sized grommet ( various grommets supplied).
The complete unit is 46 mm long , 30mm wide and 25 mm tall. . Around £10 to £15, not that expensive. Totally water proof and very subtle.
