Ambient light circuit

Hi all,

Don’t suppose any wise people in here have the schematic or can tell me which is the ambient light circuit wire colour,

I’m pretty depressed after selling the T6 that my door cards and footwell don’t light up in the dark

Or has anyone attempted this yet

You may be lucky to have front step lights as they were an option when I ordered ours. As for door card lighting, please tell me more.

Hi Rod, no I’m not so lucky, as for the door card lighting, I remember Deaky on the the T6 forum and other doing a mod to have leds in the door cards etc

Really want to do the same thing on the crafter, amongst other things,

Could do with some pioneers really

Front step lights were the only thing I added after the main part of the specification had been agreed with the MAN salesman although I had nearly missed TPMS. He sent me a copy of the options book to search for anything that I wanted adding.
Unlike a T5/T6 the front step lights in a Crafter/TGE are not in the step itself but positioned under the end of the dash to shine down onto the step. During the conversion I wired one of the redundant LED rear interior lights to the left front step light circuit and had it fitted to shine onto the sliding door step.
