Hi everyone,
I've just had a replacement DPF fitted on my 2020 TGE and as such I've become paranoid!! Roughly how often would you expect an active regen to take place? Fairly short journeys currently
Only indicator is the revs increase slightly at idle. If you look on the T6 forum someone is making a display that woks with a obd dongle and tells you the actual status otherwise the only way of knowing when the cycle has finished is to keep looking at the idle speed
the VAG DPF program on the Google play store will work with an OBD2 dongle if you have an android head unit, i use it, it will play a notification noise over the top of my music when regen starts.
Can you point towards the app that you use in the appstore?
I have a permanently mounted obd dongle and with an app like Tasker I could probably get the dpf app to start automatically on my phone.
Yup, I'm really interested in regen as I use HVO100 as fuel and it seems to start the regen but hardly injects ureum into the dpf. My ureum use:
See pictures.
The display in the vehicle stays on a 30.000km range for a long time, it used to be 32.500 for thousands of kilometers.
The reason I use HVO100 is too keep the engine clean, I've taken apart my previous TDi engines and have had to clear away so much muck because of the EGR it's just ridiculous.
I don't want to remove the EGR nor disable the AdBlue system.
