Travelling with dog upfront

hi all. We have a jack russell. He’s not the best of travellers. In our T6 he was on the rear bench clicked in but was constantly window licking. our new MAN van has captain seats and we were wondering about having him between us upfront. Has anyone done this? Is there a dog seat or platform type thing that will fit between the seats or has anyone made anything ?

Sorry, no. But I reckon that a platform, doggie seat thingy is entirely doable.

Just make sure that it’s secure so that in a bump it doesn’t cause you injury.

Just a left field thought… could you do something with a children’s bucket seat,

Mount it on a box lying in its back with the seat upright at the rear and the ‘top’ as the leading edge.


Might just work for a small dog, and has holes for straps ?

Would need recovering too.
