Just purchased a MWB and starting to look at conversion videos....
It's a mine field haha.
Will hopefully be posting for advice and general knowledge..
My first question is?
Can you put a shower unit behind the passengers side seats were on most vans have the kitchen units.
Haven't seen any at all, only behind the driver seat.
Is there a reason for this???
Many thanks in advance.

Welcome to the journey!

Re your question, have you considered practicalities - how would you get into the van through the side door?! A bathroom wouldn’t leave much space to access. Also you need to consider the shower waste out the van as the fuel tank (on UK spec) is on the passenger side directly under the side sliding door area.

Shower unit would work behind drivers seat though 🤙🏻.

Anything is doable if you have the ingenuity to find a solution. Usually the design will be based on what can be made to fit/work the easiest.

Always worth looking at other options.

welcome to you and good luck.
My first question is to carefully consider why you would need a shower unit?
I opted for a very practical big sink.
But I also agree with Tony above

Welcome to the forum, we will always do our best to help one another.

The design of your camper is always up to you within the bounds of possibility. However if you are investing the same level of serious money like so many of us have done I feel that you should consider the resale value of your creation. At the end of the day we all need to recoup as much of our outlay as possible as life moves on, I've built five campers over the past twenty years and successfully moved them on and have upgraded from a LWB T4 to a LWB MAN TGE with five VW campers prior to the self-builds since 1977.
