How to remove lamp fault message

Hi, just changed my wind mirror indicators to smoked LED versions, now when indicating left or right (not when hazards are on) I get a lamp failure message on the dash and a fast flash!

I tried resistors with no luck and also put the standard bulbs back in, but the lamp fail message and fast flashing continues? Not sure why as everything is now back to how it originally was.

I am at a loss and the message each time I indicate is v annoying, has anyone has similar issue? I have heard you can use VDCS to remove the lamp check so LED lamps can be used with no error message?
