Fabworx bed

In my search for a rock/roll style bed I’ve come across the Fabworx range, has anyone used one of these in a crafter conversion?

I’m thinking of the direct benchi range in 850 or 950mm width

It’s to seat & sleep my kids (6 & 3yo)

Have seen some YouTube videos and they look like a good setup but keen to hear from anyone who’s actually used or seen them

Cheers

Just to update this for anyone looking, I’ve ordered one of these now, I’ve gone for a mikado 915mm wide version in Austin trim to match my fronts, I’ve gone with the rear cushion piece removed for better fit up to a panel as per a YouTubers van build I followed

It was significantly cheaper than a rib which I also had been considering and was super easy to order eventually, time will tell if it’s a good decision 👍

I haven’t in a crafter but had one in my transporter and it worked well. They are, like all, a little hard to sleep on. We found a self inflating matress on top was a game changer.

@D-87 I've been looking into the Fabworks seats for the back of my MWB Crafter too. They look great but from a YouTube video I watched, it looks like the bottom/foot of the seat would foul on the B pillar when folded down into the bed position which would mean having to mount the seats away from the side and more into the middle of the van? I'd be keen to pick your brains on location of your seats and measurements if you've got the time. A picture would be even better. Thanks.

Sorry the reply is late, I’ve fitted the seat and it is close but doesn’t touch the pillar when dropped into a bed-I left a bit of room for the pillar to be trimmed/covered and it is fairly tight to the side of the van-again leaving room for a panel/carpetting and it will be nicely snug up against so there’s no problems there

Worth mentioning that I was following a guy converting a crafter on YouTube and he used a Fabworx bed but it was modified in that it had an extra section removed so it’s not as long-maybe to allow the folding without fouling the pillar that you mention? So when I ordered mine I asked for the same spec as that-what that is is actually a hybrid of 2 different bed systems, I think it’s an immax bed base but in a different style/width as they don’t list that width as standard or something along those lines-mine is 840mm wide
