Installed the halo 11 in my 2020 crafter trend line. Hardest for me was pulling the wiring across from globebox unit.Hi all, has anyone installed a Halo 9 or 11 in a Mk2 Crafter (2023). I've just purchased an Alpine 11 with various wiring looms to retain MFSW, reversing camera and SoS button. I have never seen so many cables! Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! TIA.
Hi, yes we managed to install the screen and various wiring looms fine, surprised at how much room we had under te dash in the end. We have also been able to update the boot up screen. Though sadly, still got a few issues that I'm trying to get help from Alpine with.Installed the halo 11 in my 2020 crafter trend line. Hardest for me was pulling the wiring across from globebox unit.
Still haven’t sorted the usb socket located on the drivers side near a pillar - the unit that came with the halo seems too big to fit back in place.
Did you get yours fitted all okay?
I did manage to change the boot up screen with a custom image
There is a fair amount of space up there. What issues are you having ? I must admit mine just plugged in and I got all the mfsw all good plus the vehicle info.Hi, yes we managed to install the screen and various wiring looms fine, surprised at how much room we had under te dash in the end. Just fired up the halo to checkThe MFSW features work fine, the reversing camera works fine too. Even been able to customise the boot screen.
The issues below are the key ones.
I'm using the Alpine APF-X320MIB CAN to UART Interface and the Halo has been updated to the latest version.
- Visual aid for the front parking sensors is not displayed.
- The audio works as expected and both the audio and visual aids for the rear sensors are functional.
- Vehicle Settings menu issues.
- Unable to access the Climatic menu within Interface Settings
- Driving Data menu is not displayed within Interface Settings
- Under Driver Assistance, Parking & Manoeuvring, the ParkPilot option is greyed out and inaccessible.
Does your interface menu look like the one in the attached picture. The manual suggests there should be another option under Climatic.
TIA - Richard

Did you buy directly from alpine or a retailer? Can recommend dynamic sounds, might be worth a chat with them. Tell them the product code of the wiring loom you got at least to rule that out maybe?Hi, thanks for the pictures, really helpful. I'm clearly missing a menu!!
I have used the same wiring loom which was provided by Alpine. I have chased their Customer Service Team again (4th time). Fingers crossed I get a response.
PS - love the Storm Troopers
Good luck getting it sorted and hope it turns out to be a simple fix.Thanks. I purchased from Car Audio Direct and in fairness they have been really helpful. they have also reached out to Alpine, so fingers crossed Alpine finally respond. Very disappointing they've not responded to my emails. I may reach out to Dynamic Sounds, though feels a little cheeky as I didn't purchase from them. Trooper, is a cracking name!
