The Crafter 2017 comes with a range of innovative driver assist systems for this segment.
This was recognized by a jury of experts who selected the Crafter as Van of the Year 2017. In its announcement, the jury praised the innovative driver assist and safety systems. Thanks to the electromechanical steering, parking and driving "in the lane" are made much more convenient. Every customer has the opportunity to choose from a variety of optional driver assist and safety systems to customize the vehicle to their own needs. The active flank protection sensors, which make it easier to manoeuvre past obstacles, or the adaptive Cruise Control with "Follow to Stop" function in conjunction with an automatic transmission – all these systems make their contribution to increasing road safety.
